The Bellwork California Standards Assessments were designed to measure and document your students' knowledge and skill levels of the California content standards. The assessments will give teachers the means to monitor and report student progress in relation to each specific standard. The information found from the assessments will help to reteach and/or continue practice with the standards.

The student assessments come in a perforated booklet with multiple-choice questions on the front and extended response questions on the back. Every assessment provides a specific test of each standard, and multiple-skill standards are broken down by skill. There are at least two assessments for every standard that can be used as either a summative or formative assessment; meaning either as an "end-of-skill" grade or to provide feedback to teachers on a student's current understanding of a particular skill.

These assessments are ideal for use with parent conferencing, student portfolios, standards-based report cards, or as benchmark testing. The Bellwork assessments can also be used as a source of intervention for students requiring additional help and practice with the California content standards.
