These full-year practice programs are an excellent way to reinforce the skills/concepts students have learned in their core curriculum, as well as introduce, review, and practice academic vocabulary. The skills are practiced in chronological order and are aligned and correlated to state standards.
History–Social Science Level 10 reviews World History, Culture, and Geography. Level 11 reviews U.S. History to understand the continuity and change in the twentieth century.
The questions are presented in a multiple-choice format to give students practice in proper "test-taking" behavior. In addition, each student page includes a historical fact, key term, or an essay topic.
The student editions are available in a print and/or digital/CD version. The corresponding teacher's guides are sold separately. All schools would benefit by including these programs as an integral part of their current History–Social Science curriculum.
